Fair Marketing, Inc. has received the prestigious honor of being named the #2 Best Company to Work For by the Houston Business Journal. Fair Marketing was placed under the category for Houston-based companies with 10 to 100 employees. They were one of 50 Houston companies that were honored at an awards ceremony at the Hilton Americas Hotel Houston Thursday, June 16, 2011.
“This is an outstanding achievement for everyone employed at our company,” said Roger Janik, Fair Marketing president. “Providing quality work is at the top of our list of priorities, but having a good working environment is equally as important. Everybody at Server Side Design puts in their fair share to help make our company a fun place to work as well as productive. This honor reflects our efforts in accomplishing this goal.
James Cooper, Fair Marketing web developer, echoed Janik’s sentiment about fairmarketing’s work environment.
“The Houston Business Journal has it right,” Cooper said. “It truly is one of the best places to work. We’re all blessed to be a part of fairmarketing. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great company to work for!”
This is the first time Fair Marketing has been selected as one of the Houston Business Journal’s honorees for this award. There are three other lists of honorees including Houston-based companies with 101 to 500 employees, Houston-based companies with 500 or more employees and companies not based in Houston with more than 150 employees.
Honorees are selected based on their achievement in balancing a stable and productive work setting that also projects a pleasurable atmosphere. The Houston Business Journal honors companies that happy employees are the key to success, whose employees want to come to work and where everybody knows your name.
The presenting sponsor for the awards ceremony is Burnett Staffing Specialists. The co-sponsors are HR Houston, GHP and Quantum Market Research.
